Generation of new plagiarism reports is not available
SerpAPI appears to be back in an operational state. We will continue to monitor, but the issue should be resolved now.
New plagiarism reports can now be generated for student submissions and will be checked against external sources. We have temporarily switched our external search provider from SerpAPI to Bing to enable external searching while SerpAPI continues to experience degraded performance.
It is now possible to generate new plagiarism reports with internal and docstore searches only. External searches are still excluded from new plagiarism reports due to an outage with our external search provider.
The service we use for searching external plagiarism matches is currently unavailable, which means that plagiarism reports for student Deep Dives, Originality Assignments, and Discussion Questions are not available. Existing plagiarism reports are still available to access.
